K-Dinner @ KBox

It's been awhile since the last department dinner. Thus, boss initiate a K-dinner session at KBox Cineleisure Orchard

Selfie on the way to KBox. The girls siting infront of me probably took at least 50 selfies throughout the journey =DWhile the rest are still putting on their thinking cap on what to eat ... ...I've already picked round one of my dinner. Sashimi is kind of disappointing. Very thinly sliced & only 2 choiceS. Prawns are not very fresh tooRound 2 - Lamb chop has some kind of smell & kimchi is too saltyAnd the rest of the items are either bland or too salty. Quite disappointed on the buffet spread offered is quite limited as compared to the last time I visited. Beer glass is so tiny too, but good for bottoms up! We used the meat from the Peking Duck to stir-fry with Eefu noodle. Most places used up all the duck meat, but here, they leave both the drum for us to enjoy =)

Yusheng. First time I had Yusheng last during CNY! Why? cos we're supposed to meet at 6p but half of the people attending were late!

Hot Tomato & KBox

 Went dentist at Jurong Point on Monday to remove the stitches. After which, I went to Westgate to meet up with Angela & Ivy cos I needed to buy a pair of red heels. Couldn't find one, so we went for dinner at Hot Tomato.

The girls had Caesar Salad with Prawn/ Salmon $9.50 

 While I had Mixed Grill (Pork Chop, Chicken Chop & Sausage) $14.90; top it up with $3.50 for a soup & drink. It surprised me when it's being served with Pasta at the bottom. Pasta is done al dente, drizzle with a bit of olive oil. Both pork chop & chicken chop are tender & juicy while the sausage taste pretty normal. Greens are drizzle with a little balsamic dressing. Pretty good & reasonably prized.

No plans in mind cos preparing for month-end closing at work. When leaving office, whatsapp-ed with Angela & Ivy landed 3 of us at KBox CCK
