Lucky 8 & Hard Rock Cafe

Mel won a Peking Duck from Lucky 8's Facebook contest & because she tag myself, Ivy and one of her friend Cassandra in the contest, she brought us along to claim the prize

Not like other places which they only slice the skin, here very piece comes with meat and only little skin thus could not really feel the crispiness of the skin.But one thing good, apart from using the meat for noodles which most restaurants did, they also serve the 2 drums on a side plateSo for the meat, we choose it to be cooked with noodlesWe also ordered the Roast Pork. Crackling skin but a little too thinSichuan Spicy BeancurdBecause Mel is the lucky winner, we also got complimentary dessert!Food pretty decent but personally I would prefer peking duck served with only skin.

After dinner we head over to Hard Rock Cafe for a drink

We ordered a bottle of house wine (white) and got a bottle of house wine (red) for free using The Entertainer App.Well, I don't have much knowledge with wine but Ivy says these 2 bottles are not up to her standard & it's a waste of her calories.. hahaCheers to weekend =)Wahaha.. someone is a getting a little high =D
I accidentally cleared off the redemption code and caused inconvenience for the staff but not only they proceed to honor the offer, the staff who is handling the case did it with a smile throughout! 👍One last wefie before Saturday ends!

Hard Rock Cafe | Birthday Dinner

Another round of birthday meal. This was supposed to be done the week before but had to postpone cos I was caught up at work. Sam choose Hard Rock Cafe so that she can utilize her evoucher from Entertainer app 2015

Joanna made some macaroons for us so that we can munch while waiting for food Signature Wings for sharingHickory-smoked BBQ Dual-combo. I choose Chicken & pulled pork since Sam will be having ribs & I can "tax" a little from herHickory Smoked Ribs for SamOops, can't remember what burger Joanna ordered

Supposed to go SEA Aquarium with Evelyn but her insurance has got some issue and she reach Vivo close to 5 pm after meeting with her new financial planner, so we ended up doing only dinner as the Aquarium is close at 7 pm.

Went Chili's initially, but no one attended to us after we were seated for 20 mins and even after I put up my hand, requesting for assistant! One guy in shirt (the manager I supposed) was watching TV for quite sometime, eventually walked past our table, look at me & walked away while my hand is still up & requesting for assistant! This prompts us to walk out of the restaurant! This is the first time Chili's fail me in service!

Was deciding between Hard Rock Cafe & Cocoa, and Evelyn decided on Hard Rock Cafe cos she has yet to try the one in Singapore. Service was way better in Hard Rock Cafe as compared to Chili's. From the moment we stepped into the restaurant till in-between meal, the cheerful & friendly servers were prompt in assisting your every request! 

Potato Skin as starter. I quite like this even though there is cheese. Evelyn wanted to suggest ordering this but she guessed that I might suggest ordering, so she wanted to see if she's right about my taste! She know me quite well! 

Evelyn had The Texan - Chipotle and Hickory Bar B Que Sauce, cheddar cheese, crispy jalapenos and crispy onions with  pulled pork.

While I had Hickory Smoked Bar-B-Que Ribs - A full rack of West Tennessee-style ribs rubbed then basted with authentic Hickory BBQ sauce with ranch beans & fresh coleslaw

There was a birthday celebration in the house & the servers got all the birthday girls to stand on the chair & gets requests for everyone in the house to sing them birthday song! Not sure if the ice-cream is compulsory, but I reckon it is cos all the birthday girls were holding a glass each! 

The overall dining experience at Hard Rock Cafe was pretty pleasant!
