Skinny Pizza ~ Dinner with Voodoos

Woohoo~ finally meeting up with the 2 boys from Voodoos for dinner at Skinny Pizza. It's been long time since we last met cos Erick is super busy with work.

It's been awhile since I went Skinny Pizza and their menu has now been change to paper matOur drinksHeehee.. not only women takes food pix hor.. happybaby03, y_lyn, piggyqin & myself were at OpenRice office again last Friday to collect our vouchers redeemed from Hungry Games

This time, I choke up enough points to redeem $70 NTUC vouchers & I'm giving to my sis for her grocery shopping again. 

happybaby03 (Theresa) asked Cheryl if she can give us the cute OpenRice fan & being nice, she also gave us an OpenRice Pen & a packet of OpenRice tissue =)

After collecting our vouchers, we head over to Skinny Pizza at Wheelock Place for dinner. Sam, Angela & Ivy are already there waiting for us

We ordered a total of the "3 for $18" side dish for sharing, which includes Harrisa Prawns, Truffle Fries, Sweet Potato Nibbles, 1/4m Beef Sausage, 1/4m Chicken Sausage & 1/4m Pork Sausage

Squid Ink Pizza

Chicken Satay Pizza. This is quite nice & the sauce is full of flavor.

While the girls share both the Squid Ink & Chicken Satay Pizza, I had the Squid Ink Pizza Pop

After dinner, we walked along Orchard Road & met the cast from Museum of Horrors - The Twins which is happening now at *SCAPE

Each of us also got a can or Red Bull for FREE!

Then we walked over to *SCAPE hoping to meet "someone" & we end up seeing her flying in the air!

We then head over to Robert Timms for coffee & desserts

Sam & Theresa had some cold drinks while I had Hot Chocolate. Seriously, the hot chocolate taste quite bland. I should have ordered Root Beer instead.

We were chatting away happily & suddenly there was a super heavy downpour with lightning all over & I decided that I shall brave the heavy downpour & lightning & head home immediately cos everyone will be avoiding it & thus bus 190 will be empty... and guess what? I'm totally right! While at the traffic junction, I missed an almost-empty bus & I board the totally empty bus 2 mins later!

Skinny Pizza, Plaza Singapura

Carol called on Friday morning, asking if I'm free cos she meeting Irene for dinner & asked if I wanna join them. We meet up at Plaza Singapura & since Carol has staff discount, we settled our dinner at Skinny Pizza. 

Both Carol & myself wanted a mocktail with Lychee (Can't remember the exact name) but were told that they ran out of Lychee, so she settled for mixed berry while I settle for Pink Grapefruit & Elder Flower

While looking tru the menu, I saw something interesting & decided to give it a try & it's called Pizza Pop in Vietnamese Coconut Poached Chicken! But how does it works? Watch the video below!

You're supposed to break the pizza & all the toppings will drop into the "hole". It's kind of interesting but I still prefer the standard pizza. The crust is even thinner than the usual pizza, but it turns soggy once it soak up the sauce from the topping. The crust is also kind of powdery too. Topping is nice as the chicken is very tender; sauce is slightly sour & spicy; and it's without cheese (yesh.. cos I don't eat cheese if given a choice)!

Irene sticks to The Elegant Black Pepper Prawn Linguine cos she says it's the safest choice 

Initially wanted a 1-meter long Beef sausage + 3 other sides, but one of the side (Sweet Potato Nibbles) is not available, so we changed to a 1/2-meter Beef Sausage + 3 other sides (pictures below)

1/2-meter Chicken Sausage (a little spicy)

Truffle Fries - a little disappointing cos it's a little bland

Parsley Mashed Potato. Ain't a fan of parsley but this doesn't have the weird parsley taste. However, I find this a little too buttery & creamy

We hang around & chit chat till the store is closed! =D

Although we were a little disappointed due to items not available, the service rendered by the staffs & managers were great. They were all very friendly & attentive.
