milkfrost's world

The brand new virtual world of Milkfrost - formally (milkfrost.multiply.com)

The reason why this blog is created is because Multiply.com is shutting down & all posts will be removed. Some posts here are back-dated from Aug 2004 - Aug 2012! I'm just doing a screen-shot & re-posting slowly cos it ain't easy to import every single photo. Therefore, only thumbnails are available for viewing, which also explains the white background & the little note at the end.

Buta Kizoku | Dinner w/bff

Dinner with le bff landed us at the newly opened restaurant, Buta Kizoku at Bugis Junction. This restaurant takes over the space of our favourite shabu place, Wagyu More.
Sake cocktails. I had the one with peach while le bff had the one with lychee. Can't remember the name thou.Salmon mentaiko don is kind of disappointing cos the salmon are all mashed up instead of slice/ cubes.Skewers were on promotion, at $1.90 eachMeats are tender & quite pocket friendly with the promotion price for skewers.Ending the night with a selfie with le bff on the train 😘

Bulgogi Syo | Dinner w/Ivy

Impromptu dinner with Ivy cos I was on half-day shift.
Checking out Bulgogi Syo cos Ivy was here a week ago and says the food was pretty good.Free flow of sides but the kimchi & pickle was a bit too salty today, but the staff did mention to us before we took it. The seafood mandu soup was good.Pork combo (collar, rib & belly) set comes with a flambé "show" which is a plus point at casual dining restaurant, and the pork was very tender. Set also comes with vegetables, egg & rice.We feel the Seafood pancake is a miss thou, Pancake is a tad thick. Overall, it was still pretty good meal.Dessert after dinner 😋
