I was invited by Miss TamChiak in joining the "Let's Makan" Food trial by Food Republic & I brought along Sam.Each of us are given a goody bag, sponsored by Yeo'sWe were then asked to create a flag representing our group nameMiss TamChiak drew the crab while we help to color =DAfter naming & creating our group flag, we were served PopiahHokkien MeeGrilled Chicken Wing. Somehow, I feel the chicken wing is a little dry & feels like it's being fried instead of grilled. We were then given a quiz to get out hands on the next dishTada~ it's Nasi Lemak. If you ask me, I would say, I couldn't really taste anything cos we are supposed to finish up the dish as fast as we could, so that we can get quiz to solve for the next dishQuiz for the next dish - Bak Chor MeeA little hiccup here cos the noodle is supposed to be ready when we're at the stall but aunty at the stall says it's not even being prepared cos no one inform her of what noodles we want, so it was being served to us. Again, we're supposed to finish as fast as we could for quiz to next dishNext dish - Chicken Rice!Wahaha.... again, can't taste anything cos we practically gobble down the foodThen we were served with assorted meats from Guan Chee. This is the best dish of the day I must say =)After all the dishes are being served, there is a short Q&A session where vouchers were awarded with correct answersLast but not least, we had our hands on making our own ice kachang after the Q&A sessionHere is our creation! And here's my awesome teammates (*grabbed from Miss Tam Chiak)A group picture (*grabbed from Miss Tam Chiak)We had quite a bit of fun during the session. Thanks to Miss TamChiak for the invitation =)
