milkfrost's world

The brand new virtual world of Milkfrost - formally (milkfrost.multiply.com)

The reason why this blog is created is because Multiply.com is shutting down & all posts will be removed. Some posts here are back-dated from Aug 2004 - Aug 2012! I'm just doing a screen-shot & re-posting slowly cos it ain't easy to import every single photo. Therefore, only thumbnails are available for viewing, which also explains the white background & the little note at the end.

St Marc Bakery & Bar | Dessert with CCSSians

CCSSians meet again. We're supposed to meet on 22 May but the person who initiated the meet up changed the date to today. Somehow for no specific reason, she cancelled today's meet-up. Since it's only left with myself, Anthony & wife, we decide that we can meet-up another time.

However, at close to 12 pm, David & wife initiate a meet-up cos they are back from Batam. Thus, we ended up at St. Marc Bakery & Bar. Seriously, I didn't now there is a St. Marc cafe here at East Coast!
Kitchen was closed when we reach at around 3 pm, thus it's only left with desserts, pastry & fries availableDavid & wife both had the Chococro but in different flavoursWhile I had Sinfully Chocolate Waffles. Not the best waffle in town but pretty decentWe also ordered Mentai Mayo Fries. Yummy but sauce a bit too little. However, they were nice to give us a small container of sauce when we ask if we could have more!David also ordered a soft-serve after his pastry cos he said too small for him.. lolWe also bump into another secondary school mate who is there with her family! Thus, as group picture before heading home!

East8 New York Tapas Bar & St Marc Cafe

TGIF! It's another impromptu meet up with Angela & Ivy @ the East 8, New York Fusion Tapas & Bar. The girls went there during Ivy's birthday last year & thus Angela suggested this place since I've not been there.

The place is nice & cozy. Great for chilling out & catching up with bffs

What's this? Lamp Tap? heehee...

Upon seated, I quickly snapped a picture of the girls & the staff promptly walked towards me with a BIG smile & offered to help us snap a group picture!

Table setting & a welcome drink

These cool looking boards are actually the menu!

Hokkaido Scallops with Yuzu, Miso Dressing & Shiso $14

Yellowfin Tuna Chunks topped with Lemon Avocado $14

Sweet Norwegian Mussels in Sake Broth & Garlic $16

Tapas here are pretty good I would say, and staffs are ever-ready friendly, with prompt service. I'm pretty sure we will be back again to try other stuffs offered on the menu

We went to shop around after East 8, and landed ourselves at St Marc Cafe for desserts. Nothing much to rave about, but Ivy is happy with her Macha Latte & her Macha dessert
