The brand new virtual world of Milkfrost - formally (milkfrost.multiply.com)

The reason why this blog is created is because Multiply.com is shutting down & all posts will be removed. Some posts here are back-dated from Aug 2004 - Aug 2012! I'm just doing a screen-shot & re-posting slowly cos it ain't easy to import every single photo. Therefore, only thumbnails are available for viewing, which also explains the white background & the little note at the end.

Tsukada Nojo & Miam Miam

Met up with Jaslyn at Westgate for dinner on Thursday. I wanted to try Eggs & Berries but she's not keen, so we decide to Tsukada Nojo cos she wanted to try but none of her friends are keen.

We were there at about 6.45pm and there was already a queue, but we didn't wait too long for a seat. We were seated at about 7.15pm

A selfie of us while in the queue. She says she got serious breakout, so I used InstaBeauty for a soft tone so that her pimples are not so obvious. Then I act cute a bit, added some My Melody stuffs using The Line Camera

We ordered the standard set of Bijin Nabeh (Collagen Hotpot) for 2

Jaslyn, being her first visit, is being appointed Assistant Manager

I'm promoted to Manager as this is my 2nd visit

To celebrate my promotion, I get an appetizer FREE!

I choose the Maximum Potato over Edamame cos I'm not a fan of it. Potato seasoned with Kyushu. Check out the cute icons drawn on the condiments served. Apple on the ketchup & banana on honey mustard

Also ordered Nikumaki Onigiri & Nikumaki Onigiri with Yuzu pepper & Mayo

Chicken Nanban (Original) served with Homemade Tartar Sauce. But seriously, I feels it tastes like Egg Mayo =)

Smiley face sesame paste for you to add in to your soup for flavoring but we didn't use cos the soup is very sweet

We even ask for extra soup. If I remember correctly, you can only refill the soup once

Today's Chicken with complimentary Ice Lemon Tea Jelly

Then we went Miam Miam for dessert.

Chocolate Molleaux. Unfortunately, it's just pretty to look at. The Vanilla ice cream is bland & it's quite dry in the middle.

Jaslyn's French Toast. No complains from her so I reckon it's decent

MK Restaurant & Miam Miam

Ivy dated us (Angela, Charlie, Whye Wan & myself) for dinner at Westgate, so I suggested MK Restaurant cos I've been wanting to see if it meets the standard of the ones in Bangkok

MK Restaurant is one of the most competitive restaurant in Thailand, with about 400 outlets in Thailand. They have also ventured into other countries like Japan, Indonesia & yes... they opened their first outlet in Somerset313 & the 2nd outlet at Westgate last year!

We were not aware that reservations are available, thus Ivy went to 'chope' table first. All the bigger tables were reserved, so 5 of us gotta squeeze into a table for 4. Queue started to form at about 7.30pm, so be there early if you do not have any reservations

The restaurant decor, table setting, pots & utensils are exactly like the ones in Bangkok

2 types of sauces available, the traditional MK sauce & MK Spicy Sour sauce. MK sauce is spicy yet a little sweet. If you prefer it to be spicier, you can asked for chili padi & garlic. I personally prefer the Spicy Sour sauce.

Original & Tom Yum Soup $4.90 - Chicken soup is not oily, not too band. Tom Yum is sour & spicy yet not too overwhelming

MK Suki Platter $34 - ingredients were fresh

MK Assorted Vegetable Platter (L) $25

Mushroom Platter $20

Sliced Chicken, Tofu Shishamo Egg Roll, Crystal Fish Egg Ball, Shrimp Roll with Crabstick $4 each

1/4 Roast Duck & Char Siew $12.90 - Roast Duck is tender while char siew is just so-so only.

Service here is very prompt & friendly, I won't mind coming back again as it brings back memories of Bangkok =)

Then we head over to Miam Miam for desserts

2 different colors of glasses for water. Can guess why is it so? Not difficult lah.. Red is for hot/warm & blue is for iced water

My order of Mixed Berries is a little sour

Ivy & Angela had the drip coffee. Coffee is already dripped before serving to customers instead of having it dripped on the table

I had the Valrhora Chocolate Souffle $13.80

While the rest of them share Vanilla Souffle $9.80 & Matcha Souffle $10.80

The souffles are pretty good, soft yet didn't collapse. Sweetness level is just nice. Service here is also good. I'll probably come back to try the other desserts
