It's party time! Wendy won an Instagram contest for a pair of entry pass to 8Days Eat Party at Kuvo Singapore. Thus, she invited me along =)

Kuvo Singapore is a blend of 4 areas; gift shop, Elixir Bar, Vine Lounge, and Ambrosia is modern, elegant, and sophisticated.
Upon reaching the restaurant via the private escalator, we were greeted by a cool photoboth
And with the hashtag #KuvoSingapore & #8DaysEat , you get your photos printed out instantly
Cocktails were served to all guests
Cheers to pre-weekend =)
Few bloggers were invited to attend the event & tried their hands on preparing cocktails
After getting to know the cocktails, buffet is being served

There are also 2 tables set-up for guests to take picture of the food on display & take part in food styling contest
As the food queue was super long, we decide to grab some desserts first
The only food I manage to grab is the Pork belly cos a server happened to bring out a tray
While waiting for food queue to subside, we unwind ourselves with wine
Food, finally =D

After following Eileen (middle) on Instagram for quite sometime, we finally met her in person
Also met Miss TamChiak *picture grabbed from MTC's Dayre
A snap with Wendy before we end the night =)
Oh, all guests were given a box of chocolates as door gift for the event =)
Thanks Wendy for inviting me to the 8Days Eat event

Sis called me while I was on the way home to meet them at Putien Codfish Specialty House 鳕鱼之家 for dinner
Of cos, 人日 must have yusheng right?
Huat arh! Wishing everyone good health, good wealth, lots of happiness
Big boy's face when asked to eat the vegetables
While the small boy is enjoying the carrots.
First on the list, prawn omelette
Claypot Tofu
Cod fish "steamboat" is very good. Soup is very sweet & fish is very fresh.
Broccoli with abalone. The dish comes with 5 mini abalones, so we topped it up 2 more abalones at $4.90 each since we have 7 person including the kids & helper
Prawn Paste Chicken
We also add on Hing Hwa Bee Hoon, which is good too
Helper is super happy cos she gets a mini abalone too!
Small boy is also a happy boy cos the stall owner gives him a balloon =D

A small bowl of bak kwa is being served as appetizer. Pretty delicious, but it costs $5
I quite like the yusheng but Angeline says one of the ingredient is very bitter.
Apart from the set menu, we also ordered Salted Egg Fish Skin. This is super good lah! Crispy fish skin coated with thick salted egg yolk. Very addictive!
We also ordered Pan Seared Pig Liver. Sam highly recommend this dish, which I find it delicious too. Pig Liver is thickly sliced yet not over cooked.
First dish from the set menu; Braised Fish Maw & Shredded Sea Cucumber.
Taiwan-styled Pan-fried Sea Bass with Soy Sauce
Poached Seasonla Vegetables with Bamboo Fungus & Conpoy
Kampung Chicken with Spring Onion Oil. This is quite a disappointment as it's kind of tasteless & the chicken is not very tender
Fried Rice Noodle with Pumpkin is good.
Walnut Cream with Glutinous Rice Dumpling. Apart from the Kampung Chicken, the rest of the dish are pretty good
A shot after the dinner is a must =)
