Heng Heng Curry Cafe

Met up with few of the Voodoos members for dinner at Causeway Point before heading to Night Safari, which I will blog about it separately. I was first to reach but couldn't decide what to eat, so Angela suggested Heng Heng Curry Cafe since none of us have tried before & there's no queue

Lime Juice with Sour Plum. Sour yet refreshing

Asam Laksa Seafood - Gravy is thick, a slightly & not spicy. Cucumber, Onion & Pineapple is crunchy & adds a little "ump" to the laksa

Curry Vegetables - Curry is thick & not spicy. Unfortunately, I don't eat most of the vegetables (Lady's Finger, Brinjal, Tao Pok) in there. So I'll probably skip this next time

Ngoh Hiang (Meal Roll) is nice. Minced Pork, prawns & are marinated nicely & chestnuts adds on the crunchiness. Dip in the homemade chilli & dark soy sauce makes it nicer

Chicken Wing is soft & tender, yet crispy on the skin

Preserved Vegetable & Pork Belly w/pumpkin rice. Pork belly is braised till soft & tender but the preserved vegetable is slightly bland

Braised Pork Set w/braised egg & soup. Braised Pork is also soft & tender, braise is a little sweet.

Food here is pretty nice & serving portion of the side dishes are just nice for 4 person. I'll probably be back again to try the Curry Fish Head
