Ashlyn's 满月

Ash & Charlene welcomes their 2nd bundle of joy last month & we're invited to Ashlyn's 满月 yesterday at The Summit Condo

I make my way to Carol's place at Toa Payoh first cos I need to pass her a set of mahjong & to hitch a ride to Charlene's place

Buffet was from Four Seasons. No picture of the food cos the one I took was blur.  Only the Laksa picture is decent.

Home-cooked Pig Trotter with egg by Charlene's MIL. Very nice!

Chicken soup with some wine, also home-cooked by Charlene's MIL

Carol finished eating & went to "kidnap" Ashlyn

Carol hand-knitted a pair of booties for Ashlyn

but... .. it turns out to be too big!

Why? cos Carol ask Charlene to measure the length of Ashlyn's feet including the toe. The actual length is 8.5cm but Charlene told Carol it's 9cm. Carol bring kiasu, add 1cm more! In the end, it's way too big for Ashlyn now!

Amelia excited over being able to carry Ashlyn

Aiya.. Ashlyn starts frowning the moment I carry her

but within minutes, fall asleep!

Seriously, I wonder why most babies fall asleep almost immediately when I carry them! Maybe my big tummy makes them feels too comfy! haha
