A-Team goes Pastamania

We have been eating Tze Char/ Hawker Center for the longest time & finally has a change of menu to our Sunday Dinner! 

We initially wanted to go for dinner at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf at West Mall, but can't find a seat to accommodate 6 of us at 8pm cos 90% of the outlet is filled with inconsiderate students hogging up more than 2 seats per person for studying. 1 girl even hog 4 seats to study alone!I seriously wonder if it's an F&B outlet or a Library! Seriously, the company should restrict students from studying at the outlet during peak hours so that other paying patrons can have a seat for dinner.

We decided to make our way to Pastamania since there are plenty of seats available!

Took the outside seating as the seating inside the restaurant are slightly cramp. The table is a little sticky, so I took out my wet tissue to wipe it down, only to realize that it is so dirty!. When I finished wiping 1/4 of the table, the entire piece of wet tissue becomes black in color. It is so dirty I have to use 3 pieces of wet tissues! 

Each of us ordered a Pasta & top it up with Combo A which includes a Drink, A Soup & 2 slices of Garlic bread. Minestrone soup is terribly salty

I had Prawn Aglio with fusili as choice of pasta. Pasta done al dente but not spicy at all! Also, I wonder why they cut the prawns in smaller cubes. 

Calamari is a little oily but soft & easy to chew

Cheese in the Cheese Stick is kind of mushy it looks like mashed potato to me. I didn't eat this thou

Nice Chicken Wing. Has the kind of taste where you get during good ol-school days

Surprisingly, our Number 1 Tze-Char fan finished up his pasta today!

After dinner, we proceed to Al-Ameen for some drinks. This is one of their favorite hunt for drinks for many years!

Instead of drinks, I had Ice Kachang which I regretted having it cos the syrups are totally tasteless & the Strawberry ice-cream is very artificially flavored/ sweet. 

Chatted for awhile before heading home.
