wanted to try 武汉火锅城 but we ended up at Manhattan Fish Market.. why?
we made reservation at 7.30pm before 5pm, and when we reach, no tables are available! We were told to wait & still there are no tables available till 8pm when the restaurant is not even 50% occupied!!!!!!!
asked why we cant be seated at those empty tables near the window, we were told that those tables are only for customers ordering ala carte on weekends & not for buffet on weekdays! cos there is no conveyor belt there so there is no food being served at that area!
the other conveyor belt is not even operating at all.. thus, no customers can be seated at that area!
the only area with available for buffet on weekday is only right in front.. and the seating capacity? is only like 8x6-seater + 8x4-seater!
only half the 8x4-seater are occupied with grp of 2 & all the 6-seaters are occupied by grp of 4!
at 7.50pm when we asked how long more we have to wait, we were told to wait for the grp of 6 (who came in abt 5.30p) to leave before they can allocate the table to us!
what kind of service & logic is this??!!
so ppl.. if u're thinking going thr for buffet dinner on weekday, i suggest u think twice!
because.... .... 武汉火锅城 - Service standard totally FAIL!
