Department Dinner @ Brewerkz

It's been long time since we had department dinner & boss finally arranged for one. Since there's no Muslim staff, boss picked the location at Brewerkz cos no need halal venue!

6 of us, so I made a advance booking for a 7-seater cab so that we can save one "meter-fair & peak period surcharge"

While waiting for both bosses to arrive, I went to take picture of the shop front & this couple's so cute! The lady strike a pose infront of my mobile camera. She got a shock when I suddenly shout out "I caught you!" & we both burst our laughing.

4 of the girls shared 2 sets of Beer Sampler when I one set of my own

4 random glasses of beer (125ml each) will be served for each set of beer sampler. Today's brew: 

1. Golden Ale - which is smooth & taste just right

2. Pilsner - a little bitter

3. India Pale Ale - erm.. a weird taste of spices

4. Oatmeal Stout - Yucks! Aftermath is like drinking espresso 

Some mains for sharing

Rib-Eye. 300g Angus Beef with BBQ Sauce & Onion Rings. Beef is nicely done, tender & juicy

Merlion Pizza with mussels, squid & prawn. Ingredients are fresh but I personally find the dough a little tough

Bangers & Mash

Grilled Combo of ribs, chicken & sausage. I didn't try these 2 since I ate 3/4 of the beef cos the rest of them don't take beef

Mussels & Buffalo Wings for sharing. Both are pretty good.

Hey! We have a birthday in the house

Catherine's birthday falls on the next day of the dinner, boss ordered a slice of cake for her

Andy brought his wife & son along but was late. While he & his wife are having their meal, I brought his son out for a walk. Instead of me bringing him, he lead me to the fountain, played with water & became all wet.
