Roadhouse, Dempsey Hill

It's August Baby's celebration & Sam selected Roadhouse @ Dempsey Hill after reading an article from OpenRice

Roadhouse - A modern American diner that serves sinfully good American fare, including meats and burgers grilled to perfection on the acclaimed Josper-grill

The restaurant also has very old-skool decor with wooden tables

Cute drink coasters

Ordered Root beer float $8 cos didn't know what to drink

The girls who reached early had already placed order for some starters for sharing

Parmesan wings $14 - The cheese shavings were a little too much for me, so I go for those pieces that were hidden below which has lesser cheese shavings. The girls were saying that the spicy level is 2 but we really couldn't feel any bit of spiciness. It taste like normal Rodeo Wings to me

Truffle fries $8 - Fries are good; with separation between the core & crust but the seasoning are not evenly spread.

Crispy Calamari Rings $18 is a slight disappointment as the batter was a little soft but the squid is fresh. The spicy tabasco saves the dish

Boston Clam Chowder $12 - Creamy & lots of potatoes, some bites of Bacon & Clams

Cute girl with his her Chicken Little Kid's Meal w/Chocolate Milkshake

Half slab of BBQ Ribs $29 - Had a bit of it and it was quite juicy, but Angeline say's it's quite hard & dry.

Bollywood Prawn Star $24 - Beer battered chunky Prawn patty, top with curried mango mayonnaise & lettuce. The patty is a little salty but blends quite well with the dressing

Japanese Prawn Star $24 - Another Beer battered chunky Prawn patty with Wasabi Mayonnaise. The patty is crazily salty & Theresa only manage to eat 1/3 of it.

Fiona & Eeling shared the Bacon meatloaf $35 - Smoked sausage wrapped with Wagyu minced beef, granny smith apples, bacon strips & special BBQ sauce. This is delicious!

I had the Fabulous Foie Gras $32 - Josper-grilled Wagyu patty, generious portion of Foie Gras, top with mango salsa, balsamic reduced shallots, rocket & garlic mayonnaise. Pan seared Foie Gras is soft inside & creamy. Although a little salty & oily, it was really delicious!

Finally, a group picture before we head over to The Green Door for some drinks

It was quite a nice dining experience & I'll definitely return, with my buddy Evelyn to try other items on the menu! The staffs here were friendly & they even helped us contact The Green Door to make table arrangement for us.
