A-team's meet-up over the weekend ends us at Taman Jurong Greens! Why is it so? Cos Kogu is in the organizing committee of Taman Jurong National Day Event & he is the overall in-charge, so we're there to give him our support!
Since I reach early, I walked around to see what's interesting
POSB Tent to encourage the residents on savings & stuffs. The mascot is there too. NEA tent is next to them & they're there to educate the residents on how to prevent Dengue Fever!

This Neighborhood National Day event is like a mini-scale National Day Parade with uniform groups marching in & performances from different schools from Taman Jurong. DPM Mr. Tharman Shanmugaratnam - Guest of Honor is invited to inspect the uniform groups & to start off the march-in

While the performance is still going on, me & Nizam decide to go pick up out goodie bags with our $3 coupon purchased before the actual event. It includes a goodie bag & a McDonald's meal (McChicken, Apple Pie & mineral Water). Coupons are also available on the event day, but it's priced at $2 & it doesn't comes with goodie bag, McDonald's meal & lucky draw.

More performances follows after DPM Mr. Tharman Shanmugaratnam's speach. There's also a Laser Show (video) & A modern dance segment. Keeren is so happy he starts dancing to the beat (video)!
Last but not least, Ebi Shankara is invited to sing along (video) & read out the Pledge with the residents before the finale - Fireworks!

While we were waiting to Kogu after the event, the kiddo happily bullying Nizam (video)!
