Genting Highlands - Day 1

Went on a short trip with Mum, Sis & the boys to Resorts World Genting during the school holidays. Sis booked 3D2N F&E package with Grassland Express & Tours Pte Ltd @ $186 for 3 Adults & 2 Kids, inclusive of accommodation at First World Hotel

Meeting time & point is 6.30am at Golden Mile Complex

The boys & mum having some bread before boarding the bus

The boys are excited cos it's the first time they're taking coach

Fatty boy enjoying the coach ride with his new travel pillow & his bobby!

Me still having cough, brought along my face towel to cover my mouth when I cough cos I don't have a mask .. and sadly, I accidentally left the face towel in the coach
View along the way
Coach crossing the Singapore Island, into Malaysia

Breakfast stop along the way - Yong Peng Ming Ang Restaurant. The same old place but it looks cleaner now. The last time I came here was like 4 years ago!

Damien is becoming more like Daryl. Always asking for burger!

After the breakfast stop, the coach proceed to drive on & only stop for 1 more toilet break & reaches Genting at abt 2pm

The good thing about travelling by morning coach is that you're able to check-in once you reach. I hate the idea of travelling by night coach cos you'll reach at abt 4.30am & gotta wait till the room is available, which the earliest timing is only about 9.30am! Travelling by night coach is only good for hard-core gamblers cos they can spend like 5 - 6 hours in Casino while waiting for the room to be ready!

Package includes 2N stay in Deluxe Room

The front desk officer is kind enough to allocate connecting rooms to us upon seeing that we're a family!

First thing after we settle down, we head straight to Kenny Rogers for late lunch!

Some drinks we ordered

We ordered a Kenny's Family meal (RM$69.50), which includes 4 muffins. First disappointment comes cos they no longer serves corn muffin.

4 sides (we choose Baked Beans, Mashed Potato, Coleslaw, Macaroni & Cheese)

A Whole Chicken - Quite disappointed this time cos the chicken is a little bland even after adding the BBQ sauce

Country-styled Soup served with Garlic Bread (RM$6) for the boys & mum. Sadly, the soup served was rather cold

Also ordered Chicken Cocktail Sausages (RM$9.90)

The boys enjoying their lunch

We then head to the Indoor Theme-park. Since we have 3 Adults & 3 kids, we bought the Family Package (unlimited rides) at RM$109 for 2 adults & 2 kids. Mum being a senior citizen, is entitled to get the SC ticket at RM$16

First on the list - Ride de Paris. Only Damien is allowed on the ride cos Daryl is aove the max hight limit of 122cm

Next, the boys goes on the Carousel. Daryl says this is a boring ride.. haha

Next, all of us went on the Reindeer Cruiser

and the Mini Train.

Then we decide to go Snow World. Mum's not interested, so sis asked me to go in with the boys. Tickets at RM$20 each (jackets, boots & gloves provided)

No cameras & handphones allowed in there, so sis snapped a pix of us from outside! haha.. yes, it's -5* & I'm in shorts under that jacket!

and it's damn tiring bringing that Tyre thingy up the stairs for the 2 boys to slide down! Worst, they did it for so many times during the short 40 mins in there!

Last ride of the day.. Jr Bumper Car. The boys were siting together in 1 bumper car, but subsequently they took each car on their own cos Daryl complains that it's very squeeze! After many rounds, Daryl decided that he wants to try the adult bumper car, so he went up with sis to took a ride on it. The boys spent close to 2 hours on the bumper car alone!

We then finally went out for some fresh air after spending hours in the Indoor Theme-park!

Last but not least, late dinner at about 8.30pm at Food For The Seasons Restaurant.

The boys had wanton mee

While we had Bak Kut Teh from the stall inside the restaurant

Back in the room, the boys "wrestling' with each other!

Day 1 past without much arguing & "fighting" from the boys & we're going to Outdoor Theme-park tomorrow! Stay tune!
