1-Day Desaru Trip (i) - 亚坤纯正西刀鱼丸

Bought this 1-Day Desaru Trip from Deal.com.sg @ $65/pax, together with Sam, Wendy & Evelyn.

As it was a pretty small group of only 13 pax, the agency only arranged for a mini-tour bus as transport. BAD thing about such trip was that the agency do not allocate seat number to you, so it was more like first-come-first-serve kind. Therefore, it's sure to have some inconsiderate/ irritating people who board the bus last & got lousy seat, and will "snatch" away your "good seat" once they got an opportunity!

This happens when we went Hello Kitty Town the last time, and Evelyn was saying that she hope no such incident will happen this trip, but.... ... kweng kweng kweng... it happen this trip & it happen to us!!!

This inconsiderate angmo guy with his local girlfriend took our seat when we alight at Woodlands Checkpoint, so Evelyn & myself took their single seat. When at Malaysia checkpoint, I took back my original seat & that irritating couple took another group's seat & the group was making hell lot of noise, but the idiotic couple still don't wanna get back to their original seat! In the end, 4 of us change out of our original seat & took up the last row for 4 pax, which is a wrong decision made cos can't feel the freaking air-con  & it's so hot & stuffy I practically sweating all over!

I'm not saying that they are wrong in taking other's seat since there's no seat allocation, but have they should have the courtesy to ask if others' mind changing seat. Damn freaking irritating & inconsiderate couple.. and to think that the angmo is a TEACHER! PUI!

Back to the trip. Itinerary is as follow (take note of the remarks!):
07:00 Assemble at AMW People’s Park Centre
07:30 Depart by Coach, stop at JB
10:00 Visit Herb Farm, Machu Temple and shop at Sungei Ringgit Locai Product
This was being skipped! We asked the driver why this was being skipped out of the itinerary, he replied saying that we spent too much time in Ostrich Farm. What the heck? In the first place, we're supposed to visit the Ostrich Farm after lunch, not before lunch!
13:00 Lobster Seafood lunch - 13 of us were all being squeezed onto 1 table, but food serving was decent for all.
14:30 Visit Ostrich Show Farm (include entrance fee) and Desaru Fruit Farm Centre (exclude entrance fee) - As I mentioned, we were brought to Ostrich Farm before lunch
18:30 Dinner at Kota Tinggi Seafood Restaurant - Terrible dinner! Again, 13 of us were being squeezed into 1 table, but this time, the food serving was so little! The driver even asked us to take out time to eat, so Sam replied saying that the amount of food they serve, it's only enough for 1pc/pax, how to slowly eat? The driver then commented it's ordered by Singapore Travel Agency! zzzzz
19:15 Sightseeing Fireflies by boat
22:30 Arrive Singapore

Anyway, some pix taken during breakfast at Restoran Ah Koong 亚坤纯正西刀鱼丸

On the way

Restoran Ah Koong 亚坤纯正西刀鱼丸

It's like our local Yong Tao Fu Stall, but this has a large variety of stuffs to choose from!

Interior of the restaurant is air-conditioned and... ... it has wifi provided!

The classic way of identifying your order using wooden pegs!

Here come my noodle! Black Mouse Noodle (老鼠粉 or mee tai bak) with... ... Abalone!

Yes, you didn't see it wrongly. That's my bowl of expensive noodle! Every bowl of noodle comes with 2 fishball, and so I added oysters, scallop & abalone! The abalone on it's own cost RM$35. In total, my bowl of noodle is RM$48.40, which is about S$19.30! hahahahhahaha

Meanwhile, stay tune for more pix coming up from my 1-Day Desaru Trip!
