Actually wanted to go for Shabu Shabu @ Tota Shabu, but the restaurant was full & the waiting time is abt an hr.. so we decided to give Chef Daniel's Kitchen a try..
$28nett for set dinner with only a soup of the day, main + dessert.. portion served was just nice.. taste was alright too..
but the service... ...
We were showed to a table with only 2 sets of cutlery.. waited for quite awhile before they came to take our order.. asked for ice water, but were given warm water.. all these while, no one came to set table for 2 more sets of cutlery.. soup & starter came abt 10mins after we place our order, & we had to ask for the 2 missing sets of cutlery... after we're done on the soup & starter, we waited another like 25mins for our main to be served.. while waiting, no one even bother to clear the empty soup bowls frm our table.. no one came to refill water too.. & when we ask for refill of ice water, we were given warm water again!
